This one sounds warm and sweet with great projection as you would expect with this model and the action is still great. The pads were just replaced so you are ready to go! It has a moderate amount of very light scratches and polishing swirls, typical of a used student flute, which do not affect its sound or play-ability. These scratches in no way affect the flutes sound or play-ability , they are normal for a student flute and we are sure your student will put some more on them. These great Gemeinhardt student flutes are outstanding work horses and are built to last for years. We refurbish the best of them so everyone can get a chance to learn to play. A few scratches get you a great deal on a Gemeinhardt used flute while you find out if flute is for you! These scratches are very typical of a used silver instrument. It comes in a used black hard carry case. It has some scraps, scratches, fuzz wear, latch discoloration but still works great. Also includes a cleaning rod, cloth and basic care instructions. It just received a COA which includes; Dis-assembly, cleaned (tarnish removal and prevention), hand polished, pads and corks checked and replaced if necessary, reassembled, oiled, adjusted and set up to play perfectly.
